Servant
Projects allow Christ-followers to connect with others for expression as servants of God-given talents, abilities, and gifts to build up the church and meet needs in Jesus' name. Basically, projects allow you to serve the church and others at LifePoint.
Servant Teams
Servant teams are designed to meet needs within LifePoint to help the church function effectively. The standard is to lead by being the least of all in service to the Lord through the church. Teams are comprised of people equipped to lead by calling, giftedness, passion, expertise, skill, and training.
A point person leads each team and works closely with the lead pastor (or assigned elder or deacon) to oversee the work of the team. Servant teams include:
- First Point Welcomes people on Sundays, distribute bulletins and other information, contact guest weekly to welcome them to LPC, etc.
- Ushers Assist in elements of worship (offering, seating, opening doors, etc.) and meet needs of people during worship experiences.
- Hospitality Plans, oversees, and hosts LifePoint Cafe and LPC community events
- Meals of Mercy Provides meals for families during times of need: birth of a child, injuries and illness, death of a loved one, etc.
