Prayer Network

You can be a part of LifePoint's Prayer Network in two ways: by submitting a prayer request or by subscribing to our Prayer Network newsletter.

Submit a Prayer Request

Send an e-mail to prayer@lifepointozark.com. In your e-mail, indicate whether or not to include the request in the Prayer Network (confidential prayer requests will only be forwarded to the Elders). You can also submit prayer requests on your worship participation card on Sunday mornings or by calling the church office (581-6572).

Subscribe to the Prayer Network Newsletter

To subscribe to our weekly Prayer Network newsletter, which includes a list of prayer requests, send an e-mail to prayernetwork-subscribe@lifepointozark.com.

LifePoint Prayer Requests

Week of 12 May 2008

Sherry (4/29)

Please pray for my friend Vicki. Her son-in-law was killed in Iraq last Wednesday. He and her daughter Kelly have 3 young children. Pray for peace and guidance for their family at this difficult time.

Prayer Emphasis

Each week, we choose an elder, key ministry leader, and Impact/Project Partner for prayer. We've also added an LPC land and city prayer emphasis.

Frank Clark

  • For me to increase the time spent and the quality of my personal time in Bible study and prayer
  • For Wanda and I as we manage our business
  • For our four sons and their families to maintain an increasingly positive relationship with Christ
  • For Wanda's brother who is waging a fight against cancer
  • For wisdom in fulfilling my responsibilities as an elder and member of the Stewardship Team

Micah Osborne, Director of Connections

  • That Nicole and I would continue to grow in our relationship with God
  • That Nicole and I would continue to grow in our relationship with each other
  • That God would continue to connect people to him through his body of believers at LifePoint
  • For Nicole as she is working through the physicians' assistants program at MSU
  • For Nicole as she begins to look for a PA position and all of the decisions that come with that
  • That I would keep a good balance between work, home, and ministry
  • That God would give me guidance at work and that my decisions would be in line with his plan

Marc Backes, Eternity

  • That the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart would be pleasing to God
  • That whatever I eat, whatever I drink, whatever I do, I will do all unto the glory of God
  • That my mind, my body, and my soul would be pure and God would protect me from sexual immorality
  • That Jenni and I would grow in our intimacy with God and with one another
  • That God would provide what we need for financial support
  • That we would be godly stewards of every dime that is given to Eternity
  • That I would not be anxious or discouraged about finances or our financial support and that I would know that God will take care of me just as he takes care of two sparrows
  • That God would guide Brooks and Kris Crawford as they seek God's face in their decision on whether to be our worship leaders
  • That the process to establish Eternity as a 501(c)3 would go smoothly
  • That God would give us favor in the eyes of a bank to pre-qualify us to purchase a home
  • That God would lead us to the home that he has for us
  • That God would give me insight into the Scriptures and bless my sermon preparation as I prepare to preach numerous times this summer
  • That the Holy Spirit would begin working now in the hearts of men, women, and families to prepare them to join the core group of Eternity later on this summer
  • That God would open up critical and vital doors of networking to allow me to share the vision of Eternity with as many people as I can, even if it’s thousands
  • That God would begin preparing a place for Eternity to meet
  • That God will give us favor with the leaders of Jefferson City, Cole County, and the state of Missouri

LifePoint Land

Pray for the elders. Pray that ...

  • God would encourage and strengthen them to lead as faithful shepherds.
  • They and their families have a hedge of protection around them to guard against spiritual attacks.
  • They have wisdom and discernment in all.

Our City & Country

  • Government leaders
  • Civil servants
  • Military personnel: Paul Goode
