Partner Requests

Marc Backes, Eternity

  • That the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart would be pleasing to God
  • That whatever I eat, whatever I drink, whatever I do, I will do all unto the glory of God
  • That my mind, my body, and my soul would be pure and God would protect me from sexual immorality
  • That Jenni and I would grow in our intimacy with God and with one another
  • That God would provide what we need for financial support
  • That we would be godly stewards of every dime that is given to Eternity
  • That I would not be anxious or discouraged about finances or our financial support and that I would know that God will take care of me just as he takes care of two sparrows
  • That God would guide Brooks and Kris Crawford as they seek God's face in their decision on whether to be our worship leaders
  • That the process to establish Eternity as a 501(c)3 would go smoothly
  • That God would give us favor in the eyes of a bank to pre-qualify us to purchase a home
  • That God would lead us to the home that he has for us
  • That God would give me insight into the Scriptures and bless my sermon preparation as I prepare to preach numerous times this summer
  • That the Holy Spirit would begin working now in the hearts of men, women, and families to prepare them to join the core group of Eternity later on this summer
  • That God would open up critical and vital doors of networking to allow me to share the vision of Eternity with as many people as I can, even if it’s thousands
  • That God would begin preparing a place for Eternity to meet
  • That God will give us favor with the leaders of Jefferson City, Cole County, and the state of Missouri

Craig & Bryn Hauquitz, Campus Crusade for Christ

  • Pray that we would learn French quickly.
  • Pray that we would be consistent in our family devotionals in God’s Word daily.
  • Pray for opportunities to share Christ.
  • Pray that we would quickly find an orphanage to partner with.

Steev Inge, Mystery Church

  • We are praying to see 12 people saved and baptized at Mystery this year. We have a baptism celebration scheduled for May 5th and would appreciate your prayers for this event. For God to protect those thinking about baptism and that others would follow.
  • Pray for our effective mission to the city of Joplin and Webb City. Pray that we would not loose sight of our mission and that Jesus would move our hearts to love the people of the city and seeks its redemption and not our own religious comfort.
  • February and March were hard times for Mystery. A few key families decided to move on from Mystery. It was hard as they are very loved, but we understand that this is not for everyone and church planting definitely is not easy. We also experienced several spiritual attacks within and without the church. As the front line advances the enemy attacks. By God’s grace, he has protected us and used what was intended for evil to strengthen his church and move us forward in more faithful dependence on him. Please be in prayer. This ain’t easy.
  • Pray for Ashley (my wife) as she assumes responsibility for our children's ministry.
  • We have a guy going through eldership process right now. Please lift him up in prayer and ask God for wisdom for us.

Kelly & Jenni Jessen, SportReach International

  • Praise: We had an amazing trip to Huancayo, Peru, where more than 2,800 people heard the gospel. We enjoyed warm sunshine during our sports clinics in the middle of their rainy season, and 2000+ made first-time decisions to follow Christ.
  • Pray for our upcoming trip with Lifepoint to Mexico. Pray for the final training and preparation for the team and that God would go before us and prepare the hearts of the people we will be ministering to.

Doug & Darla Millar, Community Fellowship Church

  • I am praying for the LPC team and their trip here in June.
  • God is opening doors in the village of Chan Chen. This is where LPC's team painted the jail last year.
  • Pray for the salvation of Rodolfo, the mayor of Chan Chen. We are showing the Jesus film in the Mayan language there.
  • Pray for our daughter Brittany while she's in school in Arkansas.
  • Pray for the church in Paamul. We hope to start four new small groups in May.
