Sunday Morning 

The Impel preteen ministry exists to meet the age-appropriate needs of 5th- and 6th-grade preteens and integrate them into the adult worship experience.

Preteens check in at the KidLife check-in stations and then attend the worship service with adults to sing and participate in music. Before the sermon begins, teachers escort preteens to their class for community and Bible teaching. Parents follow the check-out system to pick up preteens from their classroom.

Impel Weekly Schedule

Wednesday Night, 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Preteens in 5th and 6th grade start by checking in at the KidLife Station before heading to the Impel room. After that, they will join KidLife Elementary in the worship room for singing and worship, followed by an engaging message. They will return to their class for age-appropriate discipleship training before an active large group game in the multipurpose room. Parents will pick up their children from the classroom at the end of the night.

Impel Annual Events

Pancake Night

Preteens start the calendar year with a cozy night of games and homemade pancakes.

Fall/Spring Remade Weekend

Remade is an overnight event especially designed for discipleship and fellowship. Preteens study the Bible, go on a fun adventure, and spend the night with friends at a host home.

Fall/Spring Service Days

Preteens serve the church and community through service projects. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow as they build up the church.

Escape Room

Preteens close the school year with a night of puzzles, imagination, and mystery. One team will solve the most riddles and take home the prize!

Summer Hangouts 

Preteens share dinner and play games at a host home, making memories and capturing moments together.

VBS

Preteens who have completed 5th grade have their own group at Vacation Bible School, with special teaching and activities. Students who have completed 6th grade get to serve and lead.

Kids Kamp 

Preteens who have completed 5th grade spend four days at Sky Ranch Cave Springs. The week is packed with teaching, worship, activities, and games.

Kick Off Night

Preteens start the school year with a night of dinner and crazy game show-style competition.

Christmas Party

Preteens share dinner, exchange gifts, and sing Christmas carols.

Kit planted with LifePoint in 2004. Kit has served faithfully in the KidLife ministry in a number of capacities. He joined LifePoint Staff to lead the Impel Preteen Ministry in 2013. He and his wife Kylie have four children: Elsie, Josie, Susie, and Simeon.
