The Student Ministry of LifePoint Church exists to partner with families to see students become firmly established, real Christ-followers who live on mission together. In other words, we're all about leading students to love, think, and live as disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek to cultivate students as complete Christ-followers in mind with right beliefs, heart with right affections, and hands and feet through obedient actions, that students may experience all that is good.

Weekly Schedule for Students

The Gathering - Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Nights from 6:00-8:00pm starting in the North Multipurpose Room and then moving into The Worship Room*

The Gathering is a fun and engaging weekly large group time that helps students encounter Christ, be established and built up in him, and see him as the central figure in all their lives.

Student Community Groups - Sunday Nights

Sunday Nights from 6:00-8:00pm - starting in the North Multipurpose Room and then breaking into Small Groups*

Student Community Groups are age- and gender-specific small groups of students that meet together weekly to enjoy one another and build relationships in an informal environment. Each group is led by some of our awesome adult leaders who will intentionally support and encourage students to orient their lives around the Gospel as they study the Scriptures to know and make Jesus known together.

StudentLife Annual Events

Student Summer Camp 

For a week during the summer, the student ministry heads to a summer camp where we spend the week engaging in times of worship, sermons, games, and activities that all serve to deepen our fellowship to the Lord and to each other. This past year, the student ministry attended camp at Camp Siloam in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and we plan to return in June of this upcoming summer 2027. Incoming 7th graders are welcome to attend.

Fall Retreat

A two-day, one-night Friday and Saturday retreat where the student ministry heads to a retreat center for a relaxed weekend of worship, teaching, and recreational activities. We currently have plans to return to Camp Barnabas for our Fall Retreat again this fall.

DNOW

DNOW (Discipleship Now) is a three-day, two-night weekend retreat where students stay in host homes, sorted by grade and gender, and gather at church throughout the weekend for times of worship, a sermon series done by a guest speaker, and various competitions against each of the other host homes. This is another great fellowship weekend for the students as we spend the whole weekend together.

The Superlatives

This is a one Sunday night late in the Spring semester, usually April, StudentLife has a formal dinner night at church. Students will vote on awards for each other in the weeks leading up to the event and on this night, the winners are announced. Dessert is enjoyed and the evening ends with some line dancing.

High School Mission Trip 

During this trip, students are challenged to serve others and follow Christ in a new environment. This past Spring, we took a group of students to Camp Barnabas to help with a weekend of serving and sharing the gospel with campers who have special needs. During the weekend, we are blessed to pour out and serve others. (Age 15+)
