KidLife Events

Annual Events for Kids

VBS (June)

Vacation Bible School is four evenings of high energy and engaging lessons and activities to grow kids in a deeper understanding of the Gospel and their love for Jesus. It is held each summer at LifePoint and is always a great time of worship, learning, and FUN!

Kids Kamp (July)

Kids Kamp is held each summer near Joplin, MO, for students who have completed grades 3-5. Kamp is a memorable four days of fun, adventure, and community-building. Kids get to focus on Jesus and study the Bible together, learning important age-appropriate truths from God’s Word and growing in their Gospel understanding.

KidLife Littles Play Dates (Seasonal)

KidLife Littles Play Dates are held throughout the year to connect mothers of young children in Gospel community. Little ones and their parents can enjoy playground play dates, splash times at the local pool, holiday parties, and more together with others from LifePoint and the community.

KidLife Discipleship Classes (Fall and Spring)
Bibles and Brunch for 1st graders: As our incoming 1st graders venture to the North side of the building, we love to celebrate them by gifting them with their own Bible.  We use this time to encourage the importance of studying God’s word and supporting parents as they set a Godly example of Bible reading at home.
Donuts and Discipleship for 3rd graders: During this time for 3rd graders and their parents, our goal is to engage children in their faith.  We dig deep into important topics, including baptism, the Lord’s supper, worship, bible reading and prayer.  This is also a time of encouragement as we provide resources for parents on what discipleship at home during this stage of their kid’s life could look like.
Impel Remade Weekend (Fall and Spring)

Impel Remade Weekend is a weekend retreat for 5th and 6th graders that is held twice a year. Preteens spend the weekend learning from God’s Word during large group worship and teaching times and breaking it down in discussion. Students are given the opportunity to grow in their connections with one another while learning about and worshiping the Lord. The kids and adult leaders stay in local host homes of LifePoint families and build community at a fun off-site activity.
